When do SplashPadHub listings get updated?
Quick answer
There is no single universal refresh day. Listings are updated when we confirm a meaningful change, when seasonal operations shift, or during scheduled editorial passes. Higher-risk fields like hours, fees, and temporary closures get more attention than static facts like a park's general location.
Directory data ages unevenly, so SplashPadHub does not pretend every field changes on the same cadence. A pad's coordinates or existence may stay stable for years, while hours, fees, repairs, and seasonal status can change several times in one summer. Our update rhythm combines scheduled passes with reactive updates when we confirm something material has changed. Spring and fall usually bring the heaviest seasonal editing because operators open, shorten, or shut down water features. We also revisit listings when trusted users, parks staff, or fresh public notices point to changes. The goal is not cosmetic freshness. It is prioritizing the fields most likely to mislead a family or researcher if they go stale. That means imperfect uniformity but better practical accuracy.
