SplashPadHub completes verified directory coverage of all 50 US states
April 1, 2026 — SplashPadHub
SplashPadHub today announced that it has completed verified splash pad directory coverage of all 50 United States, with every state in the union now represented by at least one confirmed listing that includes Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility status, operating season, and a published verification date. The milestone closes a multi-month research effort that began in late 2025 and prioritized rural states, low-density coverage gaps, and tribal-trust lands historically underrepresented in commercial parks databases.
The fifty-state milestone reflects a deliberate research methodology rather than a scrape. For each state, SplashPadHub editors cross-referenced municipal parks pages, county recreation calendars, state tourism boards, and parent-submitted reports, then conducted a verification pass to confirm the pad was operational within the most recent season. States with previously thin coverage — including Wyoming, Vermont, Alaska, North Dakota, and West Virginia — received targeted research sprints to ensure parity with high-density states such as Texas, Florida, and California.
Every listing carries a permanent canonical URL, a structured-data envelope for search engines and AI assistants, an ADA accessibility flag, an operating-season window, and a last-verified timestamp. Listings without confirmed ADA data are flagged as "unverified" rather than defaulted, preserving the integrity of the accessibility surface area.
"Reaching all fifty states matters because splash pads are public infrastructure, and a national directory that quietly skips a dozen rural states is not a national directory," the editorial team said. "Coverage parity is the floor, not the ceiling — the work continues on density, depth, and verification cadence."
The complete state-by-state coverage dashboard is available at https://splashpadhub.com, with individual state pages linked from the national interactive map.
