SplashPadHub launches state guides in 10 languages
April 22, 2026 — SplashPadHub
SplashPadHub today launched state-by-state splash pad guides in ten languages, making the largest verified U.S. splash pad directory accessible to multilingual American families across Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, German, Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, Tagalog, and English. The expansion targets the roughly one in five U.S. households that speak a language other than English at home, with a particular focus on the immigrant and second-generation families who make up a disproportionate share of weekend splash-pad visitors in major metros.
Each language surface includes the full state directory, the operating-season window, the ADA accessibility flag, and the parent-reported amenity notes for every verified pad in that state. Translations were produced with native-speaker review rather than raw machine output, with particular attention to family-friendly register and to the parks-and-recreation vocabulary specific to each language community. Spanish coverage, the largest non-English surface, was prioritized for parity with the English directory at every state and city level.
The multilingual surface is exposed at locale-specific URLs with hreflang tags for search engines and structured-data language envelopes for AI assistants, ensuring that multilingual queries from Google, Bing, ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini surface the correct localized page. The directory remains free, with no paywall and no language-tier gating.
"A national parks directory that only speaks English is a national parks directory in name only," the editorial team said. "Splash pads serve every neighborhood, and the directory should serve every family that uses them."
The ten-language directory is live now across every state page on https://splashpadhub.com, with additional languages under evaluation for the next release.
